The title refers to my earlier post, Haighting the Weekend. I wandered my nabe after work today, enjoying the sights, sounds and scenes and grabbing a few pictures of the Thursday afternoon with my iPhone 4.
This is a church at Fell & Fillmore. It doesn’t normally glow like this in any light, so you have to grab your opportunities when they come.
A very difficult scene to capture on an iPhone, because the sun is low, in the background, and in your face. But I had to try. I’ve never seen anyone carry a baby in this fashion, but please keep in mind that the kid was giggling the whole time. This next one might be a fun puzzle: can you identify the subject?
The SFMTA has been installing new bus stops and shelters with wavy plastic red roofs. This is the underside of one at Haight & Divisadero with the late afternoon sun shining through. Another one for my Instant Abstract Art collection. Have a good Friday and a great weekend.
