Mendel’s (to which I have no connection) is a San Francisco gem in the Upper Haight that has sold stationery, art supplies, and fabrics since 1955. As you might imagine, they are big on color.
When you have an iPhone 4 and a window in between you and your subject, there’s only one way to take the shot: place the camera (phone? What phone?) flat against the window and grab the shot. Save the cropping for later.
