The Minimally Artistic Art of Instant Minimalist Art, 1 March 2013

Good Evening:

The south face of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s headquarters come with row upon of row of almost horizontal frosted glass panels extending all the way from the second floor to the twelfth. They extend out from the windows, and they’re supposed to provide a little shade to us cube dwellers and help cool down the building during the summer, but we’ll see how well that works; this summer might become another scorcher by SF standards.

They also provide some curious shadows, reflections and patterns, which I’ve recorded in recent months during my breaks and lunch hours.
