The Minimally Artistic Art of Instant Minimalist Art, 2 August 2013. The Grey Series: Recent Photographs.

Standard

Good Evening:

Long time readers know that I feel strongly that grey is the most underrated of colors, and that San Francisco–that colorful city of mine–looks strangely beautiful in grey. I’ve noticed that during the past few days, Superior Court (the building across the alley from the SFPUC) has looked rather interesting after 5:00 p.m. The sun shines directly across the facade at an interesting angle producing effects that appeal to–well, they appeal to me, at any rate. Forthwith I present some of the better additions to the Grey Series, all of which also qualify for my series called The Minimally Artistic Art of Instant Minimalist Art.

    • Heyjude: I frequently think the exact same thing! I don’t know how often I have felt the temptation to get a really long ladder and buckets of red, yellow and blue paint. Alas, that *is* the Superior Court building; I would not have to travel far to face justice. Vonn Scott Bair
