All this, ladies and gentlemen takes place in a single day within a few blocks in San Francisco.
If it’s a weekday morning in front of City Hall, you will almost always find newlyweds. This shot presented challenges after the upload because of very bright lights and very bright shadows. For the time being, this represents my best efforts to create an adequate picture.
Market Street means musicians, traveling or otherwise, plying their trade.
That bottom picture has some circles whose origins I can’t explain. They tend to pop up most often when the sun is fairly low in the sky (the so-called “Magic Hour” which I still consider overrated), and when the sunlight strikes the lens at an angle almost perpendicular to the direction in which I point the camera. Usually ruins a shot; here looks rather curious instead. Will probably try to retouch the photo someday.
If you come this far, you have come a long way indeed, for this constitutes my 400th post. My thanks to everyone who has visited, to everyone who has liked or commented on one of my posts, and my thanks to all who have followed the continuing adventures of The San Francisco Scene–Seen!
