These were the intelligent ones; unlike me, they were going home. Ocean Beach can get rather brisk at night (indeed, it is one of the finest excuses for hot chocolate on the planet), but photographers will endure much for a picture. The bright sun in the background made for quite a challenge, especially as I prefer to “edit in the camera,” as they say in the movie industry, and not rely on software. Still, the result was fairly satisfactory; the credit should go to the polarizing filter I used for the photo shoot.
